Auditions!

Disney's Frozen, Jr. - Directed by Mackenzie Fox (BHS Class of 2023)

FrozenJR_POSTER_BEARSTAGE.jpg

Frozen Jr is looking for Young Anna and Young Elsa, in addition to 6-8 elementary students who will play townspeople, hidden folk, and members of the snow chorus.

Auditions are open to 5th & 6th graders in the Buchanan Area.

This is a three part audition: Voice, Dance, Acting!

Please come prepared for all three!

Select and prepare one of the two provided songs. There is a vocal track to practice with, however, performers are expected to sing with the accompaniment track during auditions.

Female voices, prepare “Do You Wanna Build a Snowman”

Male voices, prepare “Let the Sun Shine On”

There are also two scenes to prepare. You do not have to be memorized, but it will help to be familiar with the reading beforehand.

Female performers, prepare scene A (you might read for Young Anna OR Young Elsa)

Male performers, prepare scene B (you might read for Sven OR Kristoff)

Finally, there will be a dance that you learn at auditions that day. Then you will perform it as a part of the audition. It might be helpful to wear loose clothing and shoes that are easy to move in.
